Dr. Kalateh Scientific Group was founded with one conviction: Iranian farmers and pool owners deserve chemistry that actually works in Iranian conditions.
Operating as Kalateh Scientific Group (Mazdak Shimi Goaltar Co.), we have been developing and producing specialized agricultural and pool treatment chemicals since 2016. Our research began at Semnan University Science and Technology Park, where we identified a critical gap — standard iron fertilizers and pool chemicals available in the Iranian market were formulated for neutral-pH Western soils and soft water. They simply underperform in Iran’s alkaline soil conditions and hard municipal water.
That problem became our purpose. Every product we manufacture is specifically engineered for the pH ranges, mineral content, and climate conditions found across Iran.

Our flagship product — the Chelated Iron Fertilizer (Fe-EDTA 6%) — emerged from years of formulation work targeting a single stubborn problem: iron chlorosis in alkaline soils above pH 7. Where FeSO4 precipitates and becomes unavailable to roots, our chelated formula stays fully soluble and plant-available across pH 7–9, the range covering most Iranian agricultural land.
The same scientific discipline applies to our pool chemicals. Our Polymeric Pool Clarifier, Copper Sulfate Algaecide, Premium Chlorine Powder, and pH correction products are all tested to meet drinking water safety standards — because we believe pool chemistry should protect people, not just water clarity.
Our mission is to make professional-grade agricultural and water chemistry accessible to every Iranian farmer and pool operator.
For too long, effective chelated micronutrients have been either imported at high cost or simply unavailable in the domestic market. We produce locally, price fairly, and back every product with direct technical support — so a smallholder farmer in Semnan gets the same quality chemistry as a large agricultural cooperative.
On the pool side, our goal is equally simple: give pool technicians and owners products that work reliably in Iran’s specific water conditions, without the guesswork. Correct pH, clear water, safe chemistry — every time.
